Defending champions Goa and Punjab scored thumping wins to storm into the semi-finals of the 64th National Football Championship, for the Santosh Trophy, at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Tuesday. The former beat Services 4-0, while Punjab trounced Karnataka 5-1 in the quarter-final league.
A 4-0 victory saw the Goa team emerge from the first leg of the I-League football tournament unbeaten.
